Available Position: Engineer – Project Manager

Keystone Field Engineering Inc. is a field-based oil and gas consulting engineering and technical support company with offices in Drayton Valley and Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada.We specialize in providing practical and efficient solutions for small to medium sized projects.

We are looking for an Engineer to join our team and who would also take on the role as Project Manager, on a permanent or contract basis.Working out of our Drayton Valley Office, this position will be responsible for managing projects as well as provide technical support on all company projects. This position will liaise with client, internal/external staff, authorities and contractors regarding all aspects of projects.

Experience and Education:

• Project design, management and oil field facility construction experience is desirable.
• Pivotal in planning, organizing, and controlling a project to meet and exceed expectations
• Engineering degree preferably in Process, Mechanical or Petroleum discipline is required.
• Your 5 to 10 years of engineering experience will primarily be within the oil and gas industry.
• Field work and a suitable field vehicle are required.
• Good working knowledge of piping design, electrical/instrumentation, civil/structural design and material specification is desirable.
• Experience with upstream oil and gas facility operations and process is required.
• Registered, or eligible and willing to register, as a P.Eng. with APEGA, APEGBC and APEGS as stamping off on drawings is required.
• Knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards (B31.3, CSA Z662, OH&S codes), AER would be an asset.
