Our Lethbridge located manufacturing client is looking for a talented Project Management Engineer to join their team! The successful candidate will be detail orientated and can see how small details influence the big picture. Compensation & Hours:
·The expected salary is $110K/yr. + bonuses
·This is a full-time and permanent position
·20%-30% travel expectations
Position Summary:
·Implementing departmental budgets, including operating income & expenses, capital/investment budgets (>$10M), and overall allocation/control
·Managing timelines of projects, including initial schedules and acceleration as needed
·Continuously looking for ways to improve processes or equipment by exploring and implementing new technologies (or retrofitting) for automated machinery
·Developing mechanical, electrical, and control systems from conception to integration
·Developing the budget, schedule, scope, and presentations to ensure milestones and targets will be met
·Coordinating work with contractors, consultants, and technicians to ensure peak project efficiency and innovations surrounding new technologies
·Commitment to quality and safety; leading by example and implementing policies
·Overseeing the installation of equipment
·Ensuring the best and safest solutions/designs are being engineered
·Providing creative solutions to problems that allows for strategizing plans, forecasting of future issues, and effective action plans – including issues of Capital Strategy for Western Canada
·Collaborating with a strong network and new hires to encourage engagement, excitement, and team loyalty to projects and the organization, driving business results
Required Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
·5+ years experience in Project Management
·Must have experience working with capital projects, competing priorities, and accelerated timelines
·Previous manufacturing experience
·Capable of bringing together initiatives through strong strategizing and problem solving skills
·Strong interpersonal communication skills, including an ability to communicate with partners and senior members of leadership
