Ghg Project Manager Jobs

Our client, a high-growth clean energy company, is looking for a GHG Project Manager to support their expanding greenhouse gas project practice.

The Position

The GHG Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful creation of GHG and other environmental attributes from the company’s emission reduction projects. You will play an instrumental role in the successful design and construction of qualified projects, and managing the carbon offset lifecycle process.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multiple team members for successful implementation of projects
• Conduct external identification and opportunity assessment of carbon mitigation opportunities in international markets
• Evaluating, quantifying and documenting greenhouse gas emission reduction projects;
• Work collaboratively with colleagues with project partners to advise, contribute to and support the planning and physical development of the Company’s GHG projects;
• Support the validation and verification of the company's portfolio of GHG projects
• Identify, research and analyze new project opportunities

Skills and Attributes

• Business development and proposal experience
• Emissions quantification and regulatory experience
• Strong technical, engineering, scientific background
• Proven experience in project management/implementation
• Familiarity and experience with upstream oil and gas processing
• Experience in process of carbon credit creation
• Experience with the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism project standards and regulations or other comparable markets
