Project Manager Jobs

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Manager. It is a 1-year hybrid contract opportunity (occasional visit on site). This role is with our Crown corporation client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must be eligible for a valid Reliability Security Clearance.

The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing update to Satellite Lead on system budget;
• Work with the Streams to identify, risks and risk mitigation strategies related to any of the satellite systems;
• Lead implementation of program methodology within stream;
• Accountable and responsible for managing escalated issues, and changes;
• Secure the SOW for any required POs for the Satellite systems to support the Experience Transformation Program;
• Work with the Streams to identify any change processes and key records of decisions;
• Coordinate 3 rd Party & Client's work activities with the XT Stream PM and Satellite Lead;
• Conform with Program Management standards and manage the record keeping of Work plan, Schedule, Status Reporting and Budget;
• Issues: risk, decision and change logs;
• Other duties as assigned;

The Project Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Experience in forecasting both scope and budget
• Project Management (5+ years): experienced in managing projects/programs; comprehensive knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools, including Agile methodologies
• Delivery methodology (5+ years): knowledge and experience in agile / scrum / iterative Development and waterfall
• Facilitate and encourage collaboration and work as one team. Encourage agile approaches and ability to iterate to create innovation would be an asset
• Ability to navigate through uncertainty and lead change within the organization would be an asset
• Experience successfully leading a range of midsize-to-large initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
