Five years of experience in a traditional (GL, balance sheet, journal entries, account reconciliations, taxes, and monthly reporting) accounting role.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions related to construction projects.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for ongoing and upcoming projects, supporting project managers in financial planning.

Minimum 1 year Canadian payroll experience

Plan and execute compilations and review engagements, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE;

Preparation and completion of corporate, personal, trust and other income tax filings;

Provide exceptional service to our clients, including managing the information flow;

Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles to support working capital management and cashflow forecasting;

Special projects and any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required;

3+ years of accounting experience preferably on Consulting or Public Practice;

Strong problem-solving skills; able to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot problems;

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize demands to meet tight deadlines

Reviewing and verifying coding on all invoices (entered by Accounting Clerk) prior to posting in Sage X3

Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel
