EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Using a risk management framework, identify all risks to the organization, and develop and implement plans to mitigate these risks

Provide financial benchmarking and operational guidance on organizational management and cost containment to operate a highly productive and high-quality operation

Lead the finance and accounting functions including annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, reporting, capital planning, audits and cost control

5+ years of experience, with leadership/ team management for at least 2 years.

Act as the advisor for senior management’s compliance with required GAAP, Lender and Sponsor, and other regulatory filings

Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

Guides the Accounting team, facilitating change management leadership and recommendations for implementing new processes

Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MBA is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA designation required.

3+ years of experience at a public accounting firm (Big 4 experience preferred).

2+ years of experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role in the software/technology industry.

At least 5 years’ experience post-certification, which includes experience in private enterprise.

Working with colleagues in Finance and other departments to implement and oversee accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent experience.

Exceptional and proven communication, organizational, analytic, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of applicable Canadian accounting standards.

Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations is required, and familiarity with US tax regulations is preferred

Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask.

5+ years in senior financial management positions.

Knowledge of and working experience IFRS accounting standards is an asset.

Manage journal entries and review of general ledger accounts and ensure compliance and accuracy.

Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to the finance team.

Consolidation of Company’s financial results and manage financial close processes.

Sophisticated depth of communication, analytical, project management and time management skills

Manage cash and banking processes while building cash forecasting capability and instilling metrics driven approach to working capital management

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

10+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment

Experience with SOX compliance or implementing internal controls frameworks

Advanced knowledge of Epicor (preferred), NetSuite or similar ERP, and familiarity with leading accounting technology solutions

Manages other finance-related activities, including oversight of accounts payable, payroll, and oversight of equity plan administration.

15+ years in both external audit and in-house financial management roles

Manages the monthly and quarterly general ledger close processes.

Leads all finance and accounting activities related to international expansion

Manage external relationships with auditors, legal firms, banks, insurance brokers, Board of Directors Audit Committee, customers and vendors

Provides finance and accounting input as requested during negotiations of complex and long-term agreements

Manage and support the in-house payables department to ensure completeness and accuracy of all vendor payments and requirements.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

·5-7 years’ experience in a Finance Department showing increasing levels of responsibility.

Update and manage monthly internal reports and prepare commentary for discussion with all branches and other stakeholders.

Develop and manage forecasting tools to provide insight and analysis of future liquidity.

Assist the VP Finance with other projects as required.

Leadership: Supervision, management, and training of finance department staff including Project accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable; Fostering a safety culture

Project Management: Core job setup within JDE; Analyze job performance; Balancing LEM work file; Review of estimating cost buildups

Cost Management: Collection of customer receivables; Account reconciliations, required working papers and monthly entries; Review of disbursements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) and professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are highly desirable.

Provide overall support specifically to the Management Team and organization

Bachelor's Degree in Management Accounting,

Experience in the manufacturing industry (or distribution industry) and knowledge of inventory accounting

Strong aptitude for technology and computing skills with experience leveraging a wide variety of integrated software

Oversee and support the team with day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, banking, payroll, etc.

Take a hands-on approach to all finance-related matters

Be the technical subject matter expert in all systems used by finance

Monitor and manage cash position and forecasting, providing recommendations on hedging

·Five or more years as a senior level accounting or finance manager.

·Oversees accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reporting. Supervises finance staff

Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management

Remote work and multi-national team experience
