Position Overview


  • Support consumer and business, outbound sales programs for commercial clients
  • Entry-level position with on-the-job paid training
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, tech support, or back-office support is a plus
  • Provide customers with information on client products and services
  • Make outbound calls to prospects and customers to acquire new customers and upsell existing ones
  • Highly reliable with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job


Responsibilities


  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling
  • Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upsell
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues
  • Explain and position products and processes with customers
  • Escalate customer dissatisfaction to managerial team when necessary


Candidate Qualifications


  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team members and customers
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Swift and accurate typing skills (20+ words per minute)
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating system
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to multitask and self-manage
