McKesson Canada, Trenton- Pharmaceutical Warehouse –

Warehouse Team Members Required.

Full time hours - Fixed term (contract)/Temporary (September 2023 to January 2024)

Shifts available:

Sunday to Thursday: 12:15pm-8:45pm

Sunday to Thursday: 9:00pm-5:30am

Monday-Friday: 6:30pm-3:00am.

Pay rate: $20.90/hr: Additional shift premium may apply

Job Summary

As directed by the Operation Supervisor, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
• Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities; audits goods received into warehouse
• Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that work areas are kept safe, organized and clean
• Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure that the company policies and procedures are respected
• Operate power lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner when required

Position Qualifications

Key Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds independently and greater weights in a team-lift environment
• Successful candidates must be willing and able to participate in a criminal record check as per Health Canada guidelines
• Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
• Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
• Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period on low level machinery, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment preferred
• Basic math and English comprehension skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
• Must be willing to learn and use various technology such as an RF scanner
• Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset
• Strong focus on customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction
