Sort, pick, and pack products

•Have more than six (6) months of experience in material handling

•Have knowledge of electrical products and the Microsoft Office (an asset)

Strong organizational and time management skills for storing goods and appropriately prioritizing shipments.

Inform the warehouse manager of discrepancies, missing stock, or space management issues.

Perform general housekeeping tasks within the warehouse.Qualifications

6 months of experience of warehouse experience that includes picking, packing, and shipping of goods.

Knowledge of freight costings and transportation systems such as Canpar, Purolator and Canada Post.

Good communications skills in multiple languages, written and spoken.

Previous experience in a distribution centre

Previous experience in operating a forklift is an asset

Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a strong customer service orientation

Experience with MS Excel and MS Word; Netsuite an asset

Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.

Weekly compensation starting at $16.65 per hour.

Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement - $30.09 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service.

Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time

Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset

Basic math and English comprehension skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy

Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment

Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities; audits goods received into warehouse

Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures

Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order.

Pulls orders accordingly to the sales order and recheck them to ensure accuracy.

Prepares items for delivery to customer.

Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer.

Prepares customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or supplier.

Good communication skills (reading and writing) and strong customer service mentality

Previous warehouse experience is preferred
