Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Warehouse Associate to join our clients team in Shannonville, ON. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a safe and organized warehouse environment.

• Location: Shannonville, ON
• Pay rate: $18.00/hour.
• Job type: Temporary - Full-time 30-40 hours per week
• Shifts: 8:00am-4:30pm

As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned, such as restocking shelves, fulfilling special requests, and assisting in inventory audits.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to ensure a safe working environment.
• Scan items into appropriate baskets or containers, ensuring proper identification and sorting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness guidelines at all times.
• Pick and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantity, and quality.
• Ensure all picked, packed, and received products are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval and inventory tracking.
• Generate and affix correct shipping labels to the packages, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and company standards.
• Receive incoming products, check for damages, and properly store them in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular and accurate inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

Candidate's Profile:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanners and inventory management software.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Must have steel toe boots or shoes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
