Warehouse Associate Jobs

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

Responsibilities

• Sell books and generate additional revenue for the company
• Report stock levels, bugs in internal software, and incidents to the appropriate parties
• Use a forklift to move books and other materials as needed (active forklift license required)
• Participate in team meetings to review progress and plan for the day ahead
• Provide end-of-day reports to summarize the day's activities and progress
• Conduct product and order inspection to ensure accuracy and quality
• Work in daily operations (warehouse)
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed to keep the warehouse and equipment in good condition
• Perform regular asset and warehouse maintenance and create report
• Train new employees and ensure they are properly onboarded if needed
• Create daily operational tasks and assign them to team members

Requirements

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the book industry or with book donation processing is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, process improvement, and team management
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
