A dedication to safety is paramount, with a requirement for CSA approved steel-toed boots and a reflective vest to be worn at all times. While gloves and a hard hat will be furnished, the capacity to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, including occasional overhead lifting, is essential. Effective communication is key, with a proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English. Your ability to discern colors, including distinguishing between shades like red and blue siding, is critical for accurate operational processes. A valid NS Forklift certification is preferred, and we are committed to providing in-house training to candidates with expired or out-of-province certifications. While a High School Diploma is advantageous, a passion for maintaining a safe and organized environment takes precedence. You'll find satisfaction in meticulously unloading delivery trucks and arranging materials meticulously within the warehouse and yard. A proactive approach is your hallmark, evident in your involvement in processing receiving documentation, conducting spot inventory checks, and contributing to loading orders onto delivery trucks as well as replenishing inventory returns.
