Pharmaceutical Warehouse Technician Jobs

Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time

Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset

Basic math and English comprehension skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy

Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment

Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities; audits goods received into warehouse

Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures

Minimum 2 years experience in a Warehouse environment driving forklift.

Safety and quality standards for operating machines

Reading and writing, and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site

Collaborating well in a diverse work environment

High School Graduate or higher – Current Forklift Certificate

40 hours per week, must work weekends

This is a summer contract role - end date: August 31, 2023*

Gathers supplies and equipment for patient orders in preparation for shipment/delivery and performs quality checks

Assembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contracts

Maintain freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature controlled shipping

Assists with inventory control, including receiving, stocking, making labels and keeping records

Participates in quality assurance activities as directed

Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.

Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Experience with shipping and receiving.

Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity skills.

Order picking, packing, and receiving.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Self Motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving abilities.

• Excellent math skills required.

• Good working knowledge of SOP’s/specs, blueprints, PCS’s and BOM’s.

• Knowledge of Lean Enterprise principles, including 6S.
