Position Overview

As the Vice President Finance and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our financial performance and operational efficiency within the fast-paced and dynamic fashion industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead cross-functional teams, oversee key operational processes, and guide financial strategies to ensure our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Monitor and manage key financial performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for growth or risk mitigation
• Oversee compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial statements
• Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to drive business decisions, including pricing strategies, cost controls, and investment opportunities
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide accurate and timely financial information to the executive team and stakeholders

Operational Excellence

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the end-to-end operational efficiency of Frank And Oak’ supply chain, from sourcing, logistics, distribution, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with departments such as product development, merchandising and IT to streamline processes and reduce costs while maintaining high product quality standards
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks and challenges proactively, ensuring a seamless flow of products from conception to delivery to both our 3PL warehouse and customers
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights in order to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Drive effective cross-functional communication and coordination to facilitate the successful execution of company-wide initiatives
• Manage and mentor a team of finance and operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Collaborate closely with other senior leaders, including Design, IT, Human Resources, Marketing and Merchandising, to align operational and financial strategies with overall business objectives

Strategic Partnerships

• Identify potential strategic partnerships and growth opportunities that align with the company's vision and goals
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers, vendors, and financial institutions, to optimize collaboration and secure favorable terms

Who you are

• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and operational roles within the fashion industry, consumer goods or a related field
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and distribution logistics within the fashion industry – Experience with Asian manufacturers is a must
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and product lifecycle software (PLM)
• Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
• Strong track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving financial and operational excellence
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; Accounting title preferred
