Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a positive and team-oriented individual for an entry level position as a Transportation Coordinator to join our Calgary distribution center. Join our Transportation team to make an impact by overseeing the duties of a Transportation Coordinator including tracking deliveries, reporting incidents, answering inquiries, solving complaints, and determining delivery costs.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

• Ensure carriers follow guidelines in day-to-day operations based on Cardinal Health’s policies and procedures.
• Building relationships and accountability with our commercial carrier partners
• Expediting urgent shipping requests
• Communicating with internal & external stakeholders
• Provide guidance or technical assistance to organizational projects
• Handle customer complaints, investigate delivery issues and report outcome to internal Customer Service group.
• Freight Monitoring and KPI reporting for Western Canada.

This Job might be for you if: 

• Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, adaptable to change and able to reprioritize on short-notice
• Team-oriented, committed, driven, assertive, curious and self-directed
• Prior experience with JD Edwards (AS/400), SAP considered an asset
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, One Note)
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in related field (commercial carriers)
