Technology Manager Jobs

• Salary is 85k-95k annually
• Must be a PR or Canadian Citizen
• 5 days a week in office.
• This is a FT role in Mississauga.

As the Manager of Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the full suite of our end-to-end practice management platform. You will work closely with our highly experienced Development team to oversee project delivery milestones and manage offshore vendors and related stakeholders to support our product roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in software development and agile practices specifically in the .NET domain. Additionally, you will provide oversight of our cloud-based architecture and security infrastructure and have worked in a Microsoft Azure environment. You will manage our offshore teams, work with external vendors, and have the necessary project management to monitor key performance milestones and metrics.

What You Offer

• Strong communication skills and ability to grow, inspire and build teams
• Experience in software development building large-scale SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products using public or private clouds is a bonus
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized institution.
• Understanding of software engineering practices/processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD etc.) and continuous improvement through measurement
• Financial acumen and experience in estimating and managing budgets.
• Experience leading geo-distributed scale engineering teams and experience building platforms or worked on a start-up environment.
• Experience collaborating with multiple functional and technical teams including partners, stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects.
• 5+ years of web .NET 6, .NET Core, frontend (React.js, Redux or Vue.js) and cloud (Azure) is desired
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB or MySQL is desired
