IT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Our Vancouver based client is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Function as escalation point for Operational support between internal departments at site
• Coordinate IT Operations staff workloads and assignments, including prioritization of projects and distribution of tasks amongst the team.
• Coordinate external vendors in both operational and project tasks to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Coach/mentor site staff as required.
• Review operational metrics with regard to customer satisfaction and ensure team is effective in providing service to the business.
• Attend site management meetings as IT representative facing the business
• Other tasks as assigned

SKILLS:

• Work well in fast-paced constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills
• Previous IT Operation Management experience
• Working level understanding of Microsoft server software/technologies, networking devices and protocols as well as change management to give oversight and technical guidance to the IT Operations team at site.

Hourly rate: $70 - $80/hour for an Incorporated Consultant (some flexibility)

4.5 month contract

Hybrid work model (2 days / week in office)
