About This Team
The Global Digital Technology organization is seeking a talented team leader that will lead development team(s) working to deliver lululemon’s Digital Commerce experiences. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your teams shipping quality code and have fun doing it. By partnering closely with the product and program leaders you help manage project scope and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met. Your experience building production systems in cloud-native environments where “automation” and “Infrastructure as Code” are guiding principles that enable you to guide teams and partners toward best practices that allow progress to be made quickly and sustainably.
A Day In The Life

• Identify staffing needs and hire in qualified talent to fit the technical needs so that business requirements can be delivered on with a stable and predictable timeline and have fun doing it.
• Lead the co-creation of the technical roadmap with technical, architectural, and business partners. Lead the co-creation of the application development roadmap with business and technical partners.
• Lead world-class agile engineering team to design, deliver, support and scale digital commerce front end guest experiences.
• Implement and evangelize continuous delivery with a focus on speed, risks, and fast end user feedback so that business requests can be quickly delivered and measured against KPIs.
• Support your team with empathetic coaching, skills development, and career path leadership.
• Be a role model and lead awareness and training for your team in our IDEA program - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action.
• Identify and remove roadblocks to success with your partnership with cross-functional peers.
• Lead organizational growth strategies building a strong leadership bench

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a people management role
• 2+ years experience with GraphQL, React, and node.js services, experience with Next JS or micro front end a plus.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses where guest experience is a guiding principle.
• Experience with SEO, AB testing, telemetry, and delivery of functional features to support exceptional guest facing experiences.
• Experience with AWS Lambdas, CloudWatch, and Splunk a plus
• 2+ years hands on experience providing operational production support for cloud-based applications utilizing modern architecture.
• 5+ years experience working in an engineering environment utilizing cloud native technologies. (AWS preferred)
