Technical Supervisor (Open To Internal Dynalife And Apl Applicants Only)

• Performs phlebotomy and micro collections by heel and finger
• Communicates regularly both written and verbal with the Operations Leader and Management Team identifying operational developments and recommending improvements.
• Communicates instructions to customers clearly and accurately
• Participates in regular and ad hoc meetings with Technical Supervisors, OLs, and Management with the shared goals of process improvement and collaborative engagement.
• Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality in all communications
• Monitors Wait time and current staffing, ensuring the right staff are performing the appropriate duties at the right time
• Works with Operations Leader to build a team atmosphere by developing and motivating staff
• Performs ECGs
• Collaborates with the Operations Leaders to help troubleshoot, strategize, trial and implement organizational and process improvements
• Ensures company policies/procedures are reviewed annually by each staff member and adhered to
• Keeps Management Team apprised of activities and recommends improvements

• Must be comfortable working in a rapid, task force style environment when needed to implement rapid changes to PCS processes

Required Experience

• Demonstrated supervisory skills is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Medical Laboratory Assistant II in Community Services/Patient Care Services is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous training and experience in phlebotomy, ECGs and specimen processing is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, required.
• Successful completion of internal/external Laboratory Assistant program is required.
