Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Consultant (Open to remote) will participate in face-to-face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, managing the sales process directly or indirectly through various sales channels. We seek a results-oriented professional who will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Our portfolio responsibilities are based in Canada and Western United States.

Key Accountabilities

• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
• Build a business plan for each account developing strong customer intimacy.
• Increase EWOS/Cargill market share in the designated area.
• Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Minimum of two years of sales or technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in forecasting, sales pipeline management and pricing product management
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Biology, Animal Science, or related
• Minimum of one year of experience in aquaculture
