Job Description
CSN Collision Centres safely repairs more than 200,000 vehicles a year helping Canadians get back on the road with the trust and comfort of knowing their vehicle has been returned to like new condition. Since 2002, CSN has grown to become the leader in collision repair with 3300 collision repair centres across Canada, the US and Italy.


The Team Leader, Training & Development is responsible for helping shape the direction of the CSN Performance offerings which include training, best practices, and share/engagement opportunities. This position will be responsible to ensure that the above areas of focus are well planned, easily accessible, documented, implemented, impressively executed, and continually improved to ensure success of all CSN Licensees and CSN Collision Centres Across Canada and USA.


Primary Objectives of the Role:


  • Manage team, coach them to identify and incorporate best practices in training design and delivery, innovation and change management
  • Design and implement methods to measure program effectiveness.
  • Ensure that modern training delivery processes and methodologies are utilized including e-learning, remote learning, train the trainer, web-based learning, is the most suitable method based on audience of receiving training.
  • Assist the Director of People and Culture to create a Training and Development Plan to help corporate staff and our Licensees (CSN Centres) Grow and Perform.
  • Leverage, manage and maintain the Learning Management System to support all training objectives
  • Establish solid relationships with Internal stakeholders, as well as industry training providers to establish training programs that add value to CSN.
  • Identify learner challenges and potential change management barriers to develop proactive strategies to address them.
  • Research content, supervise the development of training materials and development of programs ensuring alignment with CSN Business Goals, while keeping industry best practices in the forefront.
  • Responsible for the overall direction of the team within training and development area, supporting both our licensees (CSN Centres) and Corporate Staff.
  • Monitor the quality of the training experience to ensure the company's standards are maintained while maximizing efficiency and participant motivation.
  • Design and deliver training offerings to targeted groups while ensuring achievement of learning outcomes and optimization of knowledge transfer
  • Manages the costs and be able to demonstrate the return on investment of training programs
  • In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders participate in needs assessments to identify training and development priorities leading to proposed recommendations to align the business and help CSN Grow and Perform.

Requirements


  • To have the ability to meet deadlines, which from time to time are not flexible.
  • Ideally candidate possess the ability to read, speak and write in both English and French languages
  • Strong project management experience with focus on training curriculum development
  • Candidate should possess a university designation or a combination of experience and education
  • Understanding or Experience in how a Collision Operation functions or equivalent experience would be helpful
  • Excellent ability to partner with colleagues and function as part of a small team delivering high volumes.
  • The environment for this role is fast paced and complex, involving urgent timelines, multiple competing priorities and negotiations with numerous external stakeholders and internal departments within CSN
  • This is a hybrid role which requires the successful candidate to work from our corporate office 2 to 3 times per week.
  • Required travel expectation up to 10%, which may require overnight stays.
  • Continuous learner with an open mindset and comfortable learning from other team and our licenses.
  • Requires strong attention to detail in addition
  • Candidate must have 5 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years leadership experience
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and in good standings
  • Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
