Location: London


Rate of pay: £33,000 per annum


Working pattern: 08:00-20:00 (occasional evenings and weekends are required, 5 days over 7 working days)


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


  • Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service – going the ‘extra mile’ when the opportunity arises.
  • Overseeing the setting up of furniture in the function rooms with your team of porters
  • Building security – team responsible for locking/unlocking the building
  • Ensure that all agreed service objectives and Kpis are met in line with client expectations.
  • To ensure that service levels are maintained always to the highest degree and constantly exceeded and particular attention is paid to client care to ensure that all visitors, fellows, and clients receive a warm, courteous, and prompt welcome on arrival.
  • To take full ownership of the reception and all associated areas, making sure that they are always kept clean and tidy in the best possible order, consulting with cleaners, facilities, security, our Venue partner, and other departments.
  • To be guest-focused on all times, by being visible, approachable, and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs, throughout the day.
  • Maintain a record of all collections and deliveries, and items left by clients and ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
  • Develop and sustain good working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Understand the programmes of work with the RSA to be able to share this knowledge with fellows and visitors.
  • Regularly monitor guest feedback and produce a suitable action plan based on the results.
  • To ensure the team creates memorable experiences and builds rapport with all visitors and clients.
  • Actively gain customer feedback and use the information to improve the offering at any given business.
  • Switchboard Duties, to handle all incoming telephone calls/enquiries promptly giving a warm, courteous welcome and using the agreed solution.
