Store Manager (Mat Leave Coverage) - Whistler

We're looking for an amazing Store Manager to lead our team at our beautiful Whistler Store for a 12 months maternity leave cover!!

You will run your own business, leading by example and empowering teams in your own unique way. Passionate Store managers are crucial, as you are responsible for bringing our brand and values to life for customers and your team every day. We know our team is the core of our success, Inspiring, motivating, and developing your team is what you should live for, helping them grow both personally and professionally.

You’ll lead your team to deliver the best possible experience to your customers, fulfilling their individual eye care needs, working alongside highly passionate Optometrists, and hitting some exciting goals along the way.

What We Need From You

• Leadership & People - Cultivate a strong bond with your store optometrist and ASM. Partnering with your store leadership to inspire, motivate, and develop your team and always staying focused on your people and customers. 3-5 years of experience in management is a must.
• Optical Experience - while not a necessity, previous experience is a big plus in this role
• Growth and development - Create a team of future leaders, growing and developing your pipeline for future stores and opportunities.
• Positive energy - Leading with enthusiasm and proactive to help your team and customers. You love being in a fast-paced environment, willing to take on a challenge all with a can-do attitude
• Problem-solving - You have good analytical skills and love seeing a problem through to resolution, you ask questions to be able to provide the right answers, ensuring the customer has the greatest experience possible.
• Initiative - Formulate your own ideas with projects, efficiency, and process improvements. You strive to improve yourself and others around you every day.
• Customer Experience - Lead from the floor. You are the beacon of what outstanding customer experience looks like and you train your team to deliver the same.
• Community - Work with your ASM and Optometrist to identify opportunities to network locally and participate in managing the product seeding budget and community events
