Position Overview


Reporting to the VP, Customer Success, and working closely with TELUS International’s Chief Commercial Officer, the Sr. Manager, Strategy & Commercial Operations is a newly created role in a fast growing organization with tremendous opportunity to learn, evolve and grow.


As a high-performing individual contributor, you will help support sales leadership at TI develop, execute and track various elements of TI’s sales strategies (people, process, technology, etc.)


Responsibilities:


  • Drive short term and long term strategic initiatives including implementing programs like ‘Voice of the Customer’
  • Help drive organizational accountability
  • Program manage and deliver key initiatives tied to our largest commercial accounts. This includes but is not limited to - Leading calls to discuss key issues, track action items and follow-up where required, and provide executive updatesPrime reporting of certain complex items (e.g. joint sales) and ensure alignment between sales and finance data on a regular basis
  • Leverage experience and research to benchmark KPIs, and other data analysis & reporting
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to hone in on what is driving issues with our largest commercial accounts and work with leadership to identify potential solutions
  • Support P&L strategy for our largest commercial accounts. This will require working with disparate regional finance teams to build financial models.
  • Build strategic presentations to support discussions internally with the executive leadership team (ELT) and externally with our client executives


Requirements:


  • Experience with converting detailed data into a digestible format for PowerPoint slides
  • Experience in the BPO or IT outsourcing industry is a strong asset
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
  • Strong experience in a B2B strategy or commercial environment
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights for a senior level audience


Skills And Qualifications


  • Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing;
  • Strong customer success orientation
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced PC skills (e.g. MS Applications like Excel, Access etc.);
  • Superior attention to detail, accuracy and follow through;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to proactively assess problems and research solutions;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines;
  • Experience with converting detailed data into a digestible format for PowerPoint slides
  • Experience in understanding of sales forecasting and sales-related metrics.
