  • Business continuity (business process/unit focused)
The responsibilities also include:

  • Effectively collaborate with other stakeholders within HOOPP to ensure the success and effectiveness of the BCM program, including: Operational Risk Management / Enterprise Risk Management (ORM/ERM) team, BCM Divisional Champions, IT’s Security, Risk and Governance team, and the Crisis Communications Team. Other stakeholders include: HOOPP’s executive team, HOOPP Board of Trustees, IT, human resources, legal/compliance, internal audit, cybersecurity, physical security, facilities management, and HOOPP’s suppliers/third parties.
  • Provide advisory and consulting services to HOOPP.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-enterprise BCM exercises, including those with suppliers and business partners.
  • Manage the enterprise's response, recovery and restoration activities in the face of an actual disaster.
  • Facilitate the development and delivery of an annual testing exercising, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the response, recovery and restoration strategies and plans to ensure that HOOPP can effectively respond, manage and recover from major disruptions as a result of a broad range of current, emerging or newly recognized threats.
  • Develop and manage BCM program components
  • Plan, design, define, build, run and manage the governance activities of HOOPP’s BCM Program
  • Develop formal reporting, coordinate and deliver all enterprise communications to internal management (including HOOPP’s executive team and Board of Trustees) and relevant external stakeholders regarding the status of the enterprise BCM program.
  • Develop and evolve the BCM program that address the response, recovery, restoration and resilience needs of HOOPP as defined by the BIA.
  • Manage the execution of all recovery plans when a business disruption occurs.
  • Work closely with the divisions, the IT department, information security, and external parties to establish and regularly review key business strategies in alignment with BCM needs, including the recovery and restoration of HOOPP’s critical business processes, personnel, data and equipment.
What you bring:
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in successfully leading, planning, implementing, and sustaining BCM, disaster recovery and crisis management programs.
  • Proven competency in executing large projects, on-time and within budget, with business and IT personnel.
