Site Operations Manager - Healthcare

Aramark provides Support Services to Supportive living and Long-Term Care residents, independent residents, and guests. With our conventional meal delivery service, housekeeping, and laundry services, we strive to provide exceptional variety and service through continuous improvement and a focus on resident satisfaction. As a site operations manager, you will report directly to Regional District Manager and will plan, guide, and execute contracted services for long term Senior care home & will be responsible for the management and coordination of Food Services, Housekeeping and Laundry operations to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and managing capital and operating budgets for assigned functions. Monitors and reports on variance from allocated budget and implement adjustments. Authorizes purchase orders, as required.
• Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development of housekeeping practices and outcomes to meet and exceed provincial and Aramark standards.
• Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development and delivery of all nutrition & food services programs
• Ensures professional development of employees within the services. Oversees the provision of orientation, on-the-job training, and continuing education to staff.
• Development and delivery of all clinical dietary services and programs.
• Participates in the menu planning process. Assists with the coordination and implementation of the menu changes.
• Develops, recommends, implements, and evaluates opportunities for restructuring to minimize expenses and maximize savings.
• Ensures annual staff performance evaluations are completed in a timely fashion.
• Interprets and administrates collective agreements and responds to grievances as required. Participates in labour relations matters, as required.
• Oversees schedules and payroll functions for 20-25 employees
• Performs all other duties as required.
• Interprets home and departmental standards and procedures to staff and ensures adherence to standards and procedures.
• Develops policies, standards, schedules, and procedures for patient/resident/client meal service, including tray systems, tray distribution/delivery times, support equipment and supplies, ward supplies, nourishment’s, ware washing, and equipment maintenance, sanitation, and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and time
• Strong financial controls, food/equipment procurement, production and service systems and business ethics.
• A minimum of 5 years front line management experience in a long-term care or related environment (healthcare experience preferred).
• University or College diploma
