Assistant Site Supervisor Jobs

Position DescriptionWe are seeking two experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Site Supervisor's to assist in the construction of Townhouses and custom homes. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the construction team to ensure orderly site activity and constructing units in accordance with approved Company schedules, budgets and quality standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage site personnel and trades in an effective manner to facilitate achieving project goalsMaintain project construction schedules on a daily, weekly, and ongoing basis and ensure they are adhered to by site personnel, trades and other suppliersEnsure orderly site activity and construction of units in accordance with approved company schedules, budgets and quality standardsRun the site in a manner that is compliant with WCB regulationsTrain staff and trades, as required, to assist them in meeting performance standardsFacilitate harmonious relationships with all site personnel and site visitorsAssist in sourcing new trades/vendors, as requiredThe ideal candidate:Has at least 5 years’ experience working on multi-family, wood frame residential construction projectsHas expert knowledge of Alberta Building CodesCompleted Grade 12 education or higher; construction related courses or certifications considered an assetHas proven leadership abilities including managing and supervising subordinate staffCommunicates effectively and professionally (oral and written) with trades, vendors and company staffRegularly uses computer programs for project planning and scheduling, and adapts easily to new technology and softwareIs an organized, self-starter who is deadline driven and detail orientedThrives in a fast paced work environment, can manage multiple tasks with competing deadlinesThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced Assistant Site Supervisors to be part of a dynamic, growth driven, award-winning leader in the industry.
