Supervisor - Site Maintenance (Edmonton And Area)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping by weeding, fertilizing as required
• Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and are in good working condition
• Perform regular landscape maintenance and snow removal duties
• Document work progress, filling out job forms, assigning tasks to field staff, inspecting work to ensure completion
• Lead and train new staff on equipment, scope of work and work safe procedures
• Irrigate plants and maintain proper watering schedules;
• Lead and work along side landscape/snow removal team
• Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns

What it takes

• Specialized knowledge, experience, and current tickets for operation of equipment, such as skid steer, wheeled loader and forklift
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively
• A beacon of trustworthiness and a happy-to-help attitude, you thrive in a collaborative environment. Your teammates can always count on you to go the extra mile, ensuring a supportive and cohesive team dynamic
• Previous experience in landscape maintenance and snow removal preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Follow all company, job and client-specific safety protocols and OH&S legislation
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure landscapes are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
