How would you like to take on an exciting new challenge in the field of education? GSL Education is currently seeking an experienced Cover Teacher to join our client secondary school in South East London, starting as soon as possible on a long-term contract until July 2023, to continue into September. We're looking for someone who is passionate about education and can cover a range of subjects, including Business, Economics, Sociology, and basic Maths, among others.

As a Cover Teacher, You'll Be Responsible For

• Need to have excellent curriculum knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to changing situations.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent behaviour management strategies are required.
• Proven track record of raising and maintaining attainment levels.
• Must be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Responsible for maintaining a high standard of education in the absence of the regular teacher.

This role requires a qualified teacher with a PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS, and NQTs are more than welcome to apply. You must be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and lead by example to ensure the very best progress for all students. Additionally, you must be able to follow school policies and adapt to different environments.

The Cover Teacher Salary Scale for this role is £140 - £220 per day, and you'll need to possess a clear and up-to-date DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. Join our team of passionate educators and make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the Havering area.
