Science Teacher Jobs

We are searching for a high energy, passionate individual to teach in Consort School. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Chemistry and secondary Science. You will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans with interactive learning activities. You will exhibit sound knowledge in effective teaching strategies by creating a stimulating learning environment using creative techniques to deliver quality content. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to learning is essential. Use of technology and a variety of teaching strategies to reach all learners will be most beneficial, as is working within a video conferencing teaching/learning environment.
This is a full time probationary teaching assignment to commence the first day of the 2023-2024 school year. You must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate or qualify to obtain one. Preference will be given to an applicant with previous Science experiences.
Nestled in East Central Alberta, the Village of Consort is an active community with approximately 800 citizens. Consort is surrounded with farming families who are also strong supporters of the local village. The village boasts two grocery stores, several restaurants, an arena, a curling rink, baseball diamonds, gas stations, hotels and several other businesses.
