We are currently looking for a Shining Star to join our team as an Area Supervisor in Edmonton.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager, and Director of Operations.
Providing client liaison
- Assist our managers listening and responding to client needs
- Assist our managers to maintaining relationships with property managers, building operators and building tenants
Responding to client needs
- Proficiently clean clients to meet both company and client standards
- Follow-up with managers and set up independence evening quality audit
- Assist in providing periodic services quotation
- Accurate assessment and delivery of services
- Follow up and correct any deficiencies which may arise through QA or complain
- Coordinate project works through SCC
- Manage new account start up
Health & Safety
- Certify that equipment is safe to use and in good working condition
- Ensure all necessary janitor room poster and most current posting are visible
- Ensure daily field assessment are up to date
- Perform random documented safety inspection and meeting
- Ensure all chemical are properly label with correct content inside
- Ensuring the health and safety of workers and clients remains a top priority
WCB and Modified Work
- Monitor work ticket to ensure all costings are in before approval
- Labour coststhrough timekeeping in eHub
- Ensure WCB and incident report are submit to People and Culture immediately
- Assess and provide training for efficiencies
- Supply and inventory control
- Liaison with People & Culture and staff on any modified work duties
- Looking after all financial aspects of the contracts
- Monitor and adjust labour on vacancy
Managing staff
- Update staff on new technology, chemical, process and materials
- Make sure all employees follow company standards by constantly coaching and redirecting performance
- Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their role
- Product and revise task sheet as necessary
- Supervise all employee work on assigned site, to make sure it meets the company and client standards
- Deploy and train staff on the use of latest cleaning technology while providing instructions and supervision where necessary
- Support in maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff that constantly strives for excellence in cleanliness and service
- Assist managers in hiring key staff
USG
- Keep close interaction, communication, and coordination with our office and other departments
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and show an example for other employees to emulate
- Attend all mandatory company meetings
- Request and update staff needs through “new Staff Request Log” and People & Culture
- Provide weekly Plan, Action and Review report to immediate supervisor
Company Vehicle
- Arrange for oil change at recommended mileage
- Keep vehicle clean at all time
- Vehicle is for company use only
- Safety items such as headlight lights, brake lights, directional lights and hazard lights require immediate attention
- Report and get approval for any services over and above regular oil change
- Immediately report any accident or vandalism
- Perform daily vehicle walk around, weekly fluid check and monthly full report on through eHub
eHub
- Correct staff login
- Login to all site visit
- Close off action item
- Daily or regular check of staff login
- Create and close work ticket
- Call staff immediately if you find any discrepancies with their login
