About The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teachers, ensuring a smooth and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring students stay on track with their learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure the effective running of the school day.
• Manage behavior and maintain discipline within the classroom, following the school's policies and procedures.
• Support students with their learning and answer questions as needed, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources to students, maintaining a focused and engaging learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the well-being of students at all times.
• Confidence and strong communication skills, able to engage with students and effectively manage a classroom.
• A passion for education and a genuine desire to support students in their learning journey.
• Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Flexibility and adaptability, able to respond to changing needs and cover a variety of subjects.
