Cement Supervisor Jobs

The Cement Supervisor will report to the Coordinator and is responsible for the coordination of various cement operations in the field. Supervisors are responsible for the supervision and safety of personnel and equipment at all times, whether on a customer’s location or between locations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to Workplace Health and Safety Policies, National Safety Code, government, as well as client policies and regulations

• Investigate workplace incidents

• Supervise and operate various large trucks and equipment

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Conduct pre-job cement calculations involving blending and mixing, volume calculations and rates

• Conduct supervision along with rig-up of treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment

• Perform supervision and rig-out of all equipment for travel

• Perform and supervise maintenance operations to units and equipment

• Assist in evaluation and training of personnel

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum two years experience in cement operations supervision

• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence is required

• Pressure pumping experience is preferred

• High school diploma is an asset

• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested

• Physically demanding, heavy lifting required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
