- Possess a minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of managing large stakeholder groups across multiple projects.
-Previous involvement in Utility IT projects or control room environments.
- Exhibit strong engagement skills, including the ability to extract crucial information, employ probing questions effectively, and adeptly resolve conflicts with stakeholders.
- Possess a background in managing system integration projects that involve coordination among multiple stakeholders.
- Be well-versed in navigating within large stakeholder groups, consisting of 5-6 teams and a substantial headcount in the hundreds.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Utility Business Analyst to join a prominent Canadian diversified conglomerate that operates across multiple industries, including energy, utilities, structures & logistics, and investment. This will be an 16-month contract (with possible extensions into 2025), remote, out of Edmonton or Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for as-is and to-be business processes and requirement development for the future stages of the ADMS, CIS and WAM programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Defining technical requirements to establish the scope of work.
- Overseeing project execution and providing support and training that aligns with requirements.
- Collaborating with Project Managers (PMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure end-to-end business objectives are achieved.
- Executing stage 2 scope, as well as documenting processes for stage 3 scope.
- Utilize adept questioning techniques to gather essential requirements from stakeholders, focusing on comprehending underlying needs rather than verbatim documentation.
