Responsibilities:

• Research new technologies and automation to streamline and speed up the testing procedures
• Validate the ServiceNow application functionality built by the developer(s) and the system administrator(s) prior to promoting configuration into production.
• Develop, maintain, and execute quality test plans, and test cases for various testing activities. (Unit, functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing)
• Provide quality testing effort estimates to project managers and scrum masters.
• Coordinates UAT Testing with the clients
• Interface with customers in providing guidance during user acceptance testing, including test case execution and documentation.
• Continuously evaluates testing processes to identify areas of improvement
• Responsible for the execution of quality testing activities to support ServiceNow projects, enhancements, and defects with close interaction with the ServiceNow platform team.
• Communicates product issues to the development team and works collaboratively to resolve issues
• Assist the ServiceNow platform team with the creation of Agile stories based on requirements received.
• Manage the defect’s identified during testing interacting with the ServiceNow platform team on the validation of the fixes made.
• Keeps a repository of all test cases and test artifacts
• Develop test plans for each release and define test cases to support the test plan
• Ensures that the defined QA processes meet auditing requirements
• Working closely with the product & integration owners in building a ServiceNow platform quality regression test plan and regression test cases for the products and integrations which can be used during the platform upgrade and other development efforts.

Technical and Professional Expertise:

• ServiceNow experience
• ServiceNow automated test framework or other automated software testing frameworks
• Agile and other SDLC methodologies
• ITSM applications
• ITIL knowledge

Essential Experience:

• Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
• Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks.
• 3+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow.
• Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in business and technical environments> Proven ability to lead client presentations virtually or on-site
• Experience in Testing ServiceNow integrations and ServiceNow Test Automation Framework.
• Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams.
