Position Overview:

Quality Assurance team ensures and maintains the quality of software and bespoke products of the firm. We believe in ownership of overall quality of front to back applications, striving to improve efficiency by automation, collaborating across teams. As a QA Analyst, you will work closely with global colleagues in QA, business analysts, development and support teams across the world to deliver high quality applications and artifacts.

In Quality Assurance team, we do have two flavors of this role – functional and automated testing

You will:

• Do hands-on quality assurance - plan, coordinate and conduct tests for software application releases on Linux environment
• Collaborate with global counterparts in the Singapore, Montreal, Paris and Bangalore offices and ensure maximum reuse of effort, tools and simulators
• Share ownership and responsible for quality of technology software stack
• Coordinate with development teams, business analysts and users, interact with external vendors, brokers, exchanges certifying the front to back flow
• Set up test environments and maintenance with minimal hand holding
• Drive automation by owning development of automation frameworks and maintenance of existing ones in Linux environment

Required Qualifications:

• Skills in team building, problem solving, resource management and multitasking
• Experience in Python on Linux and databases, developing automation scripts for applications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics
• Expertise in regression, system, user acceptance and performance testing - Manual and automation
• Passionate about automation and learning new technologies, having a keen eye to uncover bugs and defects
• 5 + years of experience in manual and automated testing of front office connectivity / trading applications

Nice to have:

• Prior experience working in one or more of following areas will be strongly preferred:

Domain:

• Algo frameworks / Execution algorithms
• Position keeping / Risk management
• Fixed income

Technical:

• Automation frameworks like Pytest, Pyunit and mock testing
• Micro services
• Experience in performance testing of applications
• Data services or pipelines
• Awareness of dev tools, CI/CD practices
• Application development
• Knowledge in C++, scripting experience
