About This Team
This role is part of the leadership team accountable for the strategy, engineering, and delivery of technology to reliable shared technology infrastructure services, employee support in SSC and cloud enablement, delivering quality processes, controls, and systems, utilized by all lululemon sites and employees, globally.
A day in the life
As Senior Technology Manager, Portfolio and Program Delivery, you are a leader on a team doing exciting and innovative work as we bring infrastructure and cloud services to our enterprise and enable the power of our employees (in SSC, GEC and DC) through technology collaboration and support.
Leading through a small direct team (Program and Project Managers, Business Analysts) and a large indirect team (190+), you oversee a $50M+ CapEx delivery portfolio. You collaborate directly with managers, directors, and VP+ level leaders across technology, business, and product teams.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for leading and developing a team to own, transform, and evolve the following areas
You bring your experience, ideas, and initiatives to influence and drive change to support our growth and scaling.
Portfolio Strategy, Planning, and Management
  • Manage portfolio level risks and dependencies
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for portfolio investments
  • Lead workforce strategy and planning
  • Lead intake, planning (quarterly and interim), and prioritization
  • Drive overall portfolio strategy in collaboration with business and technology leadership
  • Enable peers and senior leadership through information and insight
  • Manage portfolio heath and financials (CapEx, OpEx, and SG&A)
Team Enablement
  • Manage leadership team rhythms and plans (meetings, offsites, planning sessions, OKRs)
  • Oversee hiring and onboarding in collaboration with hiring managers and P&C partners
  • Develop leaders and successors within team and act as a mentor to resources outside of team
  • Manage leadership team communications, rhythms and plans (meetings, offsites, planning sessions, OKRs)
  • Lead the implementation of standard delivery practices across the portfolio
  • Lead Community of Practice for Program and Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts
  • Manage portfolio wide communications
  • Identify and oversee process improvements
  • Lead employee engagement and people development initiatives
Program Oversight
  • Lead the planning and delivery within the portfolio of enterprise and cross-functional initiatives (e.g., Supply Chain, Retail Engineering, Digital Engineering)
  • Lead program delivery in partnership with cross-functional technology and business teams
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented; Results-oriented; Problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present ideas and across all levels of the organization
  • 5+ years of direct people management and leading technology delivery through others
  • 2+ years in global Retail technology industry experience preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
  • 3+ years of experience leading in a product centric delivery environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams adopting delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree information technology or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing $20M+ technology delivery portfolio
  • 12+ years of experience in information technology with direct work experience leading complex, global technology initiatives
