Senior Agile Delivery Managers pursue success for their clients & teams, removing impediments and creating high-performing teams to achieve business outcomes. They are responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring the team is delivering demonstrable value on every iteration. Reporting to a Program Director, they work with the Tech, Quality, Product, Creative, and Client Partners, to not only deliver products and services, but also evolve and improve our current processes.A Senior Agile Delivery Manager manages scope and schedules with an Agile-centric approach to prioritization and value delivery. They own the process, adhere to Rangle's Agile engagement methodologies, and are knowledgeable about the effective processes and steps needed to execute the delivery of a digital project successfully.
Details about your role
- Serve as the first point of escalation for the team promptly escalating risks and issues to the Account Team and/or senior management
- Give feedback on how to improve existing delivery and operation processes
- Provide visibility through regular reporting, and communicate progress and risks at both the sprint and overall project level
- Demonstrate consulting expertise by strategically leading and navigating crucial conversations
- Actively contributes to the Community of Practice, growing and leveraging a refined toolkit of best practices, collaboration tools, techniques, and activities
- Determine and improve morale through team health checks and team norms while guiding the group toward meeting their objectives/goals and leverage their soft skills, empathy and approachability, to gain trust in one-on-one and team environments
- Leverage a scalable qualitative and quantitative approach to risk management, identifying risks early, providing high visibility on impact and urgency against project milestones, and determining timely, necessary action(s)
- Contribute to resource planning by outlining outstanding work for every project
- Provide regular updates to the Accounts team with early attention given to potential risks
- Actively collaborate with a cross-functional account team to fulfill Account strategies
- With the Accounts team:
- Take ownership and accountability for delivery across one or more engagements, managing scope and schedules with an Agile approach to prioritization and value delivery
- With internal, cross-disciplinary teams:
- Drive & influence organizational Digital maturity, advocating shipping early and using a Lean-Agile mindset
- Actively identify opportunities for expansion and align Rangle consulting and new business activities (with Client Partners, strategists, etc.)
- Create and optimize an environment where the team can focus on delivering outcomes by having processes in place to maintain awareness of acute and chronic pain points
- Comprehend the client's motivations, goals, and perspectives from the viewpoint of individual stakeholders within the organization as well as the broader company
- Foster a Quality-first mentality by choosing the right levels and types of testing, knowing who is responsible for what, and collaboratively (internally and for the client) defining quality software
- Resource projects; forming well-balanced, cross-functional, high-performing teams, taking into account team member’s developmental needs/aspirations in addition to client outcomes
- Contribute to the recruitment and selection of team members (both technical and non-technical positions)
- Onboard new people to the team, determine new team members (highlighting skills and capabilities needed) and Offboard existing team members when needed
- Proactively create SMART mitigation plans and demonstrate the ability to consistently communicate and problem solve with stakeholders to close issues
- Actively provide feedback, guidance, and coaching to members of the delivery team, in collaboration with their people managers, to level-up team members and ensure appropriate feedback loops are in place to address performance issues

- Acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality by having and defining clear Quality principles for the team
- Responsible for providing oversight and forecast needs for the management of project budgets and for prompt review and approval of client invoices
- Actively drive clarity on quality strategy for engagements leveraging the Quality practice, to ensure alignment within the team and with client stakeholders
- Decipher and synthesize the client's organizational and reporting structure, pain points, business goals, and shifting priorities
What you bring to the team
- Strong ability to leverage various reporting matrixes that provide project insight
- Able to recognize and mediate conflict between parties at all levels, with both the team and with external stakeholders working with the team
- 7+ years in Agile delivery roles (either Scrum Master or Agile Coach) and have demonstrated leadership and 2-3 years experience in a consulting role
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to demonstrate accountability to external and internal stakeholders
- Nice to have certifications: PMI, PMP, ACP, CSM, SAFe or LeSS
- Has worked in Scrum, Kanban and other Agile frameworks
- Able to recognize and mediate conflict between parties at all levels, with both the team and with external stakeholders working with the team
- Exceptional knowledge of Lean-Agile principles and methodologies, with an ability to put them into practice
- Risk management with proven ability to establish approaches which continuously mitigate external and internal risks
- Nice to have Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related equivalent
- Kindness, compassion, focus, drive, curiosity and thirst for learning new things
- Able to clearly articulate vision and purpose, and ensure goals are well-defined for the team
