Service Delivery Manager Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time IT Account Manager / Service Delivery Manager to lead an IT Managed Services engagement. This role requires a solid IT background in a management role, with experience in outsourced IT services environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the client relationship, liaising between the client and technical services delivery teams
• Assist with the planning for service outages for updates
• Provide overall planning, coordination and scheduling of IT delivery projects
• Assist with the change management process
• Lead problem troubleshooting when issues occur, ensuring that communication with the client is current
• Work with the technical team to ensure the required IT services are delivered as required
• Work with the client to understand their service needs
• Provide direction and guidance on best practices regarding Information and Communication Technology
• Oversee risk, issue, and scope change management processes related to the IT deliverables

Requirements:

• Familiar with ITIL framework and experience with ITSM platforms
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Windows Patch Management
• Demonstrated experience delivering project deliverables on-time through an iterative continuous improvement process
• Password Management
• Backup Management
• Demonstrated understanding of Information Security and Data Protection requirements
• Experience in outsourced IT environments
• Experience working with Canadian municipalities, Canadian public sector entities, Regional Districts and/or BC Crown corporations is preferred
• Experienced with log\data analysis, visualization, and management tools
• Familiar with Network and Security technologies
• Security Management
• Monitoring and Alerting
• Strong understanding of network concepts, protocols, services and technologies
• 5+ years of experience in managing Server, Workstation, and Network Management implementations, including, but not limited to:
• Familiar with Security Risk Assessment and Management
• Familiar with security compliance standards and frameworks
• Quarterly Maintenance
• Strong understanding of layered security at data, OS and network levels
• Firmware Updates
