: The Senior Technical Sales Specialist (or Technical Sales Manager based on experience and skillset) will work to drive sales and work with the marketing and other sales team members.
Responsibilities:
·Contact qualified leads from various inbound and outbound sources
·Assess prospects’ needs and resources and recommend the appropriate service
·Conduct client follow-ups and manage client relationships through our CRM
·Establish friendly business and interpersonal relationships through rapport by getting to know intimately customer’s organization, personnel, culture, ways of doing business
·Attend trade shows and conferences and to discussQuality Smart Solutions offerings
·Assist in business development ideas and strategies
- Collaborate with marketing on ideas, review of eblasts and planning for tradeshows and events
Experience/Skills/Education qualifications:
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Has extensive experience in relationship building and maintaining the client relationship
·3 to 5years sales experience in the food, cosmetic, health products or pharmacare industry
·Has a strong desire to win the deal and finds ways to close sales
·Familiarity with natural health products and/or dietary supplements is required
·Familiarity with Canada and US regulations for consumer packaged goods products is an asset
·Experience in a regulatory consulting firm in a sales role is an ideal asset
·Experience using CRM, Microsoft suite, Calendly or similar online meeting tools
·Can work with little to no supervision
·Can manage multiple leads, followups through a CRM platform
·Highly organized and be able to meet sales goals and targets set in a specified time
·Occasionally work outside business hours for calls with international prospects to accommodate their timezone
·University education with a Bachelor’s degree
·Outgoing personality with the ability to talk to anyone in any situation with no hesitation
·Can build a relationship and trust with new and prospective clients
·Can promote the company through social media (linkedin, etc.)
·Occasional travel in Canada and USA (10%)
This is a full-time role + commission based on sales targets.
