YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR RESEARCH DIRECTOR

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage research projects, develop and validate measurement tools, make strategic recommendations, write reports, present research results and provide expert advice to clients
- Maintain and expand the scope of client mandates by identifying business opportunities and capitalizing on them in collaboration with the VP
- Client relations, project management and consulting services
- Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with clients by demonstrating your expertise, knowledge and understanding of their industry
- Provide adequate support to and monitor the work done by research analysts
- Recommend or integrate research methods or tools that use the company’s key services: Leger Analytics, Leger Opinion, etc.
- Ensure quality assurance as part of the project plan while respecting timelines
- Produce service proposals and present them to create opportunities for discussion
- Participate in business development by identifying business opportunities in collaboration with the VP
- Have a thorough understanding of clients’ needs, expectations and requirements
- Foster a dynamic work environment through enthusiastic and open communications
- Inform clients about Leger’s products and services and share new market trends
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Requirements
- Proficient with computer tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook), SPSS/Stat XP, Sawtooth, etc.
- Focused not only on executing work for clients but also on growing existing accounts and participating in business development opportunities
- Market Research experience in the Financial Services (banking, insurance, etc.) sector or Telecommunications sector are assets
- Proven expertise in project management or with demanding clients.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques: segmentation,MaxDiff, factor analysis, multiple regression, conjoint analysis, etc.
- Advanced skills in writing strategic reports and presentations
- At least seven (7) years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/ strategic research professional.
- University degree (Master’s level preferred)
