FORTIS assists injured Ontarians navigate the medical and legal process following a Motor Vehicle, Slip & Fall, Pedestrian, and Cycling accidents.

FORTIS’ Medical-Legal consultants match clients with highly specialized Ontario Injury lawyers and expert multidisciplinary Regulated Health Care Practitioners to assist them in their recovery journey, and ensure they have access to the rehabilitation benefits and compensation they’re rightfully entitled to.

We’re looking to expand our reach across Ontario and are looking for a contractor to work up to five hours per week on a range of marketing, research and other tasks. As an independent contractor, we value your flexibility and range of skills in assisting with some key projects as we expand.

The Ideal Candidate must be ready to work in a Start-up environment and be good at setting their own goals. This is an amazing opportunity to change the direction and strategy of our social media, marketing and business development. Responsibilities

• Other tasks, as needed, on an ad hoc basis
• Researching and adding data for new and current clients from across the Province
• Social media collaboration with Physio and Medical Partners, Legal partners and more.
• Other projects, as determined by you and your ambition
• Managing the Hubspot Sales CRM (Updating records, adding notes etc)
• Marketing outreach to potential partners(Email, Social Media, Telephone)
• Content creation (depending on need & skillset) including blogs, social media, reels and influencer marketing
• Researching new marketing opportunities (New marketing projects, areas and trends)

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Development
• Familiarity with the Medical and Legal landscape (Personal injury, physios etc)
• Ability to work as an independent contractor under a zero-hours contract
• Working in a Start-up environment
• Previous marketing, research or project management experience
• Knowledge of Hubspot Sales CRM
• Knowledge and experience in Social Media
• Excellent problem solving and prioritizing skills
• Bachelor’s degree or Technical qualifications (Marketing, business management)
• Ability to work as a contractor in a start-up atmosphere
