Associate Research Consultant Jobs

Bachelor’s Degree; Business Management, finance, and/or Human Resources/Training is preferred with up to 2 years of related business or consulting experience.

Programming experience in Alida (Vision Critical) or equivalent survey software (Qualtrics, Survey Gizmo, Survey Monkey, etc).

Skilled in Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for data visualization/reporting

Develop questionnaires to answer research objectives

Create sampling plans and utilize industry best practices to maintain panel health

Leverage PowerPoint and Excel to create compelling, story-driven reports with actionable recommendations for stakeholders

Interact with internal groups including data management, quality assurance and business development during clinical study lifecycle

Verify that SAE reporting is accurate and in accordance with the protocol, GCP guidelines and with applicable regulatory requirements

Monitor clinical trial progress for compliance with regulatory and budgetary requirements

A minimum of (2) years of site monitoring experience

Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). French is an asset.

Dependable with excellent organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Coordination: Coordinate research projects, including assisting with budgets, tools management, scopes and schedules.

Project management: Manage research projects so that they are delivered on time and within budget.

University degree, Research Analyst Graduate Certificate, or similar education

Have 3-5 years of market research experience—experience researching consumers, employees, stakeholders, or general population samples.

Previous experience with SPSS or research analytical tools considered an asset.

Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

Conducting quantitative analyses (statistical/econometric analysis, cost-benefit analysis, price forecasting etc.) to provide support on commercial transactions, assets valuation, or planning activities.

Stay current in policies, regulatory requirements, market trends, and technological development to update forecast processes within the company.

Course work should include economics, environmental/resource economics, finance, statistics or econometrics.

Oversee data processing, analysis, and management (e.g., supervising data entry and interview transcription, and training Research Assistants).

Create and manage annual project budgets, and ensure adherence to the funding agency and Dalhousie University protocols.

Experience with questionnaire design (relevant to the study of resilience).

Experience with mixed methods, including concurrent qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and sensitivity in working with diverse cultures in various contexts.

Experience overseeing the completion and operations of various research projects.
