Employment status: Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract for 18 months
Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 per annum
Reporting to: Manager, Evidence Generation

Role Description
The analyst will be a part of our Evidence Generation team and will contribute to a variety of research and operational activities for evaluation projects across policy areas, with a focus on workforce development and skills training. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, team-based work environment, tackling challenges with curiosity, creativity, and optimism. The primary responsibilities of the Analyst include:
- Leading and/or supporting qualitative data analysis, distilling and drafting insights into various formats, including public-facing briefs, reports and decks
- Leading and/or supporting qualitative data collection through interviews and focus groups;supporting notetaking for these research activities as well as during client meetings
- Conducting literature reviews and scans to support research design and reporting
- Tracking and compiling evaluation data and monitoring data quality
- Project coordination tasks, including organizing and managing project documents, scheduling meetings, and tracking project activities
- Coordinating with clients as necessary and providing technical assistance and support to them in implementing data collection processes
- Leading and/or assisting in design of research and evaluation plans and data collection tools, as well as collecting and monitoring data
- Participating in client-meetings and contributing to external and internal idea sharing, solution development and other consulting activities
Qualifications
You bring:
- Comfortable self-starting and managing your own time while working on multiple simultaneous projects

- Excellent writing, presentation, and facilitation skills, with an ability to communicate complex information clearly, succinctly, and in a way that is tailored to different audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, exercising maturity, discretion, and good judgement in complex situations
- Ability to work collaboratively with members of a team to accomplish project tasks and meet deadlines
- 1-2 years work experience in research coordination, qualitative methods, analysis, and reporting in a consulting, non-profit, government, or a related field
- Outstanding organization skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Outstanding interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills with team members of all levels, cultures, and backgrounds
- Ability to self-organize and to ensure accuracy under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to build professional rapport with external stakeholders and clients, often coordinating or collaborating with them independently
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in social sciences or a related field
The following qualifications would be assets:
- Experience conducting program evaluations, especially within non-profit organizations or government agencies
- Experience using Condens, or other qualitative research software; Qualtrics; Salesforce or other CRM databases
