Experience/knowledge with research and scholarly activity in Business schools, an asset.

Five (5) years experience in project management and proven ability to align work priorities and realize strategic goals.

Master's degree - (Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy) or equivalent combination of education and job experience

Operations Management and Strategy Formulation

Demonstrated knowledge of the geo-political context relevant to research and innovation.

Experience working with Provincial and Federal ministries / agencies, particularly in the security and innovation context.

Experience in developing and leading research security or related training initiatives for relevant stakeholders.

Lead the Research function at Thumbtack, directly managing both ICs and managers.

8+ years of experience in research, with 4+ years of experience leading and managing research teams

Experience leading high-performing research teams in a fast-paced environment, with a demonstrated ability to balance research rigor with practicality

Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including executive teams

Excellent presentation and storytelling skills

Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Science, Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent practical experience
