We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join and grow our Promo Base Offerings, Community and Marketing Tools areas through hiring, building, and leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams, as well as leading organization wide process and procedure improvements.

What you'll do:

• Ensuring delivery timelines for major deliverables are agreed on with Product teams and that those delivery timelines are met
• Setting objectives for the unit based on business objectives (OKRs).
• Create a fulfilling work environment in which the teams thrive by removing obstacles, taking proactive steps to improve daily work, and cultivating a culture of psychological safety
• Maintain focus on continual technical improvement and technical debt reduction within product area
• Play a leading role in recruiting, building, and growing teams
• Provide visibility into the health of the group unit through definition and measurement of KPIs and regularly communicating essential information related to product development
• Growing the team of Engineering Managers and staff-level engineers through coaching and performance management
• Take wider picture view of engineering department and both propose and lead improvements to processes and procedures
• Forging strong working relationships with Product, Platform, and Operations departments

All About You:

• Experience building and leading high performing engineering teams, ability to hold them accountable when necessary
• Ability to multiply your effectiveness by guiding and influencing your teams to maximize their productivity and impact
• Exemplify diversity, inclusion, and belonging in leadership
• Strong knowledge and experience in software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• 5+ years of experience in STLC delivery
• Experience using metrics/OKRs to measure the impact of organizational change initiatives
• Demonstrated successful partnership with internal and external counterparts
• Knowledge or interest in online gaming industry is an asset but not required
• Strong communication skills; a communication style that resonates with and inspires listeners, and an effective use of Agile/project management terminology to foster a common understanding of these concepts
• A devotion to continuous self-improvement; a voracious appetite for learning new things, and a strong presence in the greater Agile community
• Exquisite brokering skills: ability to achieve consensus amongst stakeholders both internal and external to team
