The Regional Supply Chain Leader is responsible for optimizing the supply chain and material processes across the sites within the region through driving KPI’s and forward-thinking strategic initiatives. They will build and lead highly effective local teams and have responsibility for both long term and day to day operations of the supply chain function within their region. They will serve on both the Regional Leadership Team and the Functional Supply Chain team providing significant contribution to the strategic direction and standardization of the supply chain function. They will take a lead role in interfacing with our strategic suppliers and building positive relationships with both internal and external customers. This position reports jointly to the SVP Regional Leader and the VP of Supply Chain and provides leadership to local supply chain resources across the region.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build strong supply chain talent within the sites through influential leadership and functional development
  • Accountable for supply chain budget and project deliverables; secure and allocate appropriate resources to meet regional goals and achieve financial objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the Supply Chain function in order to develop successful performance platforms
  • Lead objectives related to the supply chain function (inventory turns, inventory level, material planning, contract and sourcing compliance)
  • Implement a framework for best practices in supply chain and inventory
  • Align processes with best practices among the various Creation Regions
  • Responsible for Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to Supply Chain in the Region (Direct Material Spend % to Revenue, Material Profitability (PPV), Inventory Turns, Excess and Obsolete, Load Vs. Committ, Contract Compliance & Sourcing Compliance)
  • Lead strategic initiatives for supply chain across the region (material cost reductions, supplier consolidation, material management and supplier NC/NR maintenance, etc…)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 10 years of practical industry experience in a multi-location environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Lean Supply Chain essential
  • Complex manufacturing setting an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary business education or equivalent
  • Experience in financial systems and the key supply chain drivers within the manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
