As our Senior Director, Business Planning & Operations, Clinical Operations, you will play a pivotal role in advising our global clinical trial capabilities and ensure our strategic goals are including the Late Development Oncology positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Planning with critical constituents and content providers to ensure clarity of scope and objectives for global clinical operations.
• Work closely with the communication team to support accurate information is posted on all internal locations.
• Oversee all actions and strategic initiatives to completion, reporting back to the LTs on progress as required.
• Own the development of the annual scorecard ensuring input from all LT members.
• Work with late oncology clinical operations leadership teams to set, oversee, and communicate strategic priorities and goals (activities and budget), work in close collaboration with portfolio, project and strategy teams, and leverage reporting and analytics tools to communicate metrics and productivity.
• Support business and financial planning in partnership with finance and LDO BPO
• Development of standard metrics/performance slides to communicate ongoing key projects outlined by the Clinical Operations Leadership team.
• Lead and facilitate key strategic meetings, ensuring smooth running of all agenda items, decisions, activities etc.
• In collaboration with the communication lead, develops an effective communication plan to drive the understanding of LDO within the function and externally with key partners.
• Partner with HR and communications to ensure teams are operating efficiently and ensuring that both organizations are great places to work.

Required Education And Experience

• 8+ years pharmaceutical experience
• Understanding of forecasts, budgets, financial processes and tools
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical business (including development)
• Shaping, developing & successfully implementing plans
• Experience in strategic planning processes and tools
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), organizational, relationship building, and consulting skills
• Bachelor's degree with scientific, technical, or business focus
• Strong organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail
• Project and process management expertise
• Experience in leading through influence in a matrix organization
• Cross-functional team experience

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in translating business needs into a coordinated plan from cross-functional senior leadership team
• Experience in an alliance or strategic partnership
• Results-orientation with ability to develop creative and simple solutions to sophisticated problems
• Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred
• Broad experience across multiple areas of Oncology R&D development (preclinical, clinical)
