As a Senior Business Analyst within the National Operations Excellence team, you will support business operations by working directly with members of the same team, other teams across multiple functions and management to understand, prioritize and collaborate in providing the field with accurate data driven insights

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring new KPIs to support the productivity of TELUS CSD field operations. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering analytical insights that focus on achieving integration and improving efficiencies within TELUS field operations.
Your contribution will be fundamental in creating a highly agile, productive, and efficient field operations team. As a result, you will be able to play an essential role in supporting TELUS's ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible service to our customers.

• Collaborate with the National Operations Excellence team on rolling out new productivity enhancing projects and programs
• Create, ideate, and execute upon dashboard designs that will provide management with insights to properly manage field operations
• Assist the National Operations Excellence team with data deep dives regarding field productivity
• Become a subject matter expert on productivity metrics and KPIs
• Collaborate effectively and efficiently across multiple disciplines, organizational boundaries, and stakeholder groups
• Deliver impactful, concise, and effective communications and presentations to all levels of the business both internally and externally

Qualifications
What you bring

• Able to analyze large datasets and create efficient queries to retrieve and manipulate data
• Experience in automating workflows and tasks using Google Apps Script and APIs
• Good understanding of coaching philosophy and practices
• Strong knowledge of GCP Console and ability to write and troubleshoot SQL-like queries using BigQuery's SQL dialect
• Expertise in business intelligence tools such as DOMO, Tableau, or Looker; including experience with data visualization, dashboard design, and report development
• Expertise in GCP data storage and management services, including experience with BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner
• Able to translate business requirements into actionable insights
• Understanding of enablement, marketing, business and financial acumen
• Strong knowledge of Google Drive and Google Cloud Storage for organizing and sharing files
• Experience in integrating data from multiple sources and creating data models that support self-service analytics
• Business Management - KPI development and inspection, business planning and execution
• Expertise in SQL programming and database design, including experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Expertise in Google Workspace tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Forms, including experience with data analysis, charting, and collaboration features

Great-to-haves

• Experience with machine learning concepts and techniques such as regression, clustering, and classification
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies such as data lakes or data marts
• Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to delegate, monitor and manage high volume workloads
• Bilingualism (English & French)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – asset or equivalent experience
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Strong knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis techniques
• University Degree or Technical Diploma – asset or equivalent experience
