Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) représentant(e) des ventes résidentielles pour joindre notre équipe de professionnels qualifiés dans la région de Montréal et l’Abitibi.
Le titulaire de ce poste devra planifier et gérer les activités du territoire afin d’assurer la croissance des ventes et des parts de marché à l’aide de stratégies de vente et de marketing et outils approuvées tout en offrant un excellent service à l’ensemble des clients du territoire. Le représentant des ventes relève du directeur des ventes et il est responsable des ventes et de l’administration de son territoire.
Responsabilités
  • Développer et maintenir une connaissance du comportement du marché ainsi que les tendances concurrentielles.
  • Déceler de nouvelles opportunités et stratégies fondées sur les besoins de la clientèle afin d’augmenter la croissance de l’entreprise.
  • Préparer et livrer des propositions/présentations de ventes et faire des suivis auprès des principaux décideurs.
  • Identifié des pistes de ventes, gérer les clients potentiels et conclure de nouvelles affaires.
  • Accroître les parts de marché et renforcer les relations d’affaire avec les clients existants.
  • Déterminer les besoins des clients et proposer des solutions appropriées qui contribueront à rencontrer ou excéder les objectifs de ventes.
Responsabilités Clé
  • Présenter les produits et programmes aux distributeurs et entrepreneurs qualifiés sur une base hebdomadaire.
  • Toutes autres responsabilités assignées.
  • Étudier et traiter les plaintes sur la qualité du produit dans le territoire.
  • Contacter sur une base fréquente les couvreurs, entrepreneurs et architectes afin de stimuler la demande à l’égard des produits IKO.
  • Développer des relations d’affaires et augmenter les ventes avec les clients distributeurs assigné au territoire.
  • Offrir des présentations de formation sur les produits IKO à la clientèle.
  • Soumettre sur une base hebdomadaire un rapport d’activités du territoire.
  • Assister aux réunions, aux fonctions et à aux formations requises par l’entreprise.
  • Assurer le suivi rapide des demandes de renseignements des clients ou de l’administration de IKO.
  • Adhérer à toutes les politiques et procédures de IKO incluant les mesures de Santé et Sécurité ainsi qu’aux politiques du véhicule.
Compétences Requises
  • Excellente aptitude pour les relations interpersonnelles, les présentations et les communications.
  • Expérience de vente préalable dans le secteur des matériaux de construction est un atout.
  • Antécédents attestés démontrant l’atteinte et le dépassement des objectifs de vente.
  • Excellent dossier de conduite avec permis de conduire valide.
  • Capacité manifeste de solliciter principalement l’utilisateur final des produits IKO et de mettre en œuvre des techniques de vente par attraction.
  • Une formation professionnelle en vente est un atout.
  • Forte aptitude en informatique incluant les produits Microsoft Office et Salesforce.
  • Expérience dans le domaine de la toiture est un atout.
  • Capacité manifeste de travailler efficacement de façon autonome et en équipe.

This position requires that you plan and manage territory activities to achieve sales and market share growth utilizing approved sales and marketing strategy and tools while providing excellent customer service to all customers in territory. The Territory Sales Representative reports to the Regional Sales Manager of their territory.
Accountabilities
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in order to respond accordingly.
  • Determine customer needs and propose appropriate solutions that contribute to meeting or exceeding business sales goals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and following up with key decision makers.
  • Recognize new business opportunities and strategies based on customer needs to enhance company growth.
  • Increase market share and strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Submittal of weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion.
  • Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand for IKO products.
  • Perform Product Knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers.
  • Attend meetings, functions and company provided training as required.
  • Present products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basis.
  • Follow up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely fashion.
  • Investigation and processing of product quality complaints in territory
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Develop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territory.
  • Adhere to all IKO policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Vehicle policies.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Prior sales experience in building products industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
  • 2 or 4 year college degree in a Sales or Marketing related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven ability of calling primarily on the end user and performing “pull through” sales techniques
  • Prior professional sales training is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience contacting roofing contractors, builders and/or architects is preferred.
  • Good driving record with valid driver’s license.
